2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara 5 Door
Newport
About this vehicle
Testing the waters with my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. It has been used for off-roading and overlanding and has proven to be a really capable little truck. The only reason I am considering selling it is because I would like something bigger.
It has:
- 3-inch Vitmods lift kit
- Insa Turbo Dakar tyres
- Custom CB mount with a wired-in CB radio
- Fully wired Auxbeam spotlights
- Two new front hubs fitted by JR Shafts in September 2026
It starts, runs and drives well, although it does have a few known issues:
- The rear reverse light and fog light do not work. I believe this is a common issue relating to the switch on top of the gearbox.
- The gearbox is quite noisy, but I have a spare gearbox that can be included with the vehicle.
- The exhaust has fallen off, although I also have a spare exhaust that can be included.
It is obviously not in showroom condition and has been used off road, but it is a lovely little Grand Vitara for somebody looking to get into off-roading or build an inexpensive overland vehicle.
The roof tent and boot storage box are not included in the sale.
